Michael

Gainesville is home to the Edible Plant Project, recently featured in the Gainesville Sun. It's all about edible landscaping. What a great idea! Why not plant foliage that is not only beautiful, but also delicious. Michael Adler (photo above) coordinates the project.

Edible landscaping is not new. Zoobird member German Rosillo (photo above) cultivated many a lawn with tasty plants through his Gainesville based company

Abundant Edible Landscapes. German and his partners have given many enjoyable, informative workshops, especially at Gainesville's Indigo Green Store on topics ranging from making rain barrels to how to till and prepare your garden for planting. Here's an article about one of their workshops.
