It gets a little slow at McRorie during the summer. Personally, I plan to plant for the Fall soon.

Maura is the McRorie Community Garden coordinator. Her phone number is on the bulletin board at the garden. Her most recent communication said:
"So, the time of year has come when people are calling me to get a garden plot. PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT NOW TO LET ME KNOW IF YOU WILL NOT BE GARDENING
THIS SEASON. At this time there are no plots "available" and there are 2 people on the waiting list. I know the weather's been odd so far this year; and I think we're in the "safe to start your spring garden" time. So, if you'd like to hold onto your plot and have not yet got around to it, that's fine. If you're not using your whole plot, we can divide it in half. If you don't want to garden this season and think you'd like to in the future, not to worry - plots open up regularly."
