Hi Naomi,
Did you ever read my poem FIGURINE?
I'm planning a poetry-art exhibit with a friend here in Houston. We're excited.

Hi Naomi,
Here's a poem I wrote. Maybe you[ll read it for me, since I'm not in town.

Figurine

They whirled below me, happy, heartless, free,
While I was left alone, all to myself,
They danced, they sang, they even called to me,
I did not hear them, standing on my shelf
Of sorrow, hanging high upn a wall
Of solemn, rigid wood; I watched that crowd
Below me, gliding through their spacious hall,
I would not join them, I was much too proud.
But suddenly my nailed shelf gave way,
I left it and went reeling through the air,
I fell amidst the others, shattered clay,
I looked about, then soon became aware
That once I was too high upon a wall
To feel the joy others in the hall.

Hi Naomi! How has the Soft Exposure been going? I plan to drop by the next reading when I am in town. You might start a discussion in Writing Zoo about it. I mentioned it to Ellen this weekend via email. We have quite a few writers here. Will you be going to the next Lit Guild meeting? Best, Mike

Hi Naomi, I forgot to hit the comment button after I had written you a big paragraph. Anyhow, I'd like to know more about you. My sister is a published post and I am a musician. My main interest on here is mind-body-spirit and I would like to hear more about your interest in that topic. I also would like to invite y ou to become my friend on this site and to join my new group, Environmental Zoo, where you may express your concerns, solutions, ideas, or anything else you'd like to share. See you there?

How to Use Clipless Pedals - wikiHow

While clipless pedals are intimidating to many new cyclists, they offer efficiency that cannot be gained any other way. Before using them, it's often worth it to invest a little bit of time into becoming familiar with the way they work.

Barry Hannah's Long Shadow

One afternoon in July, the author Barry Hannah took to the small roads south of Oxford, Mississippi, where he lives, to visit the grave of friend and fellow writer Larry Brown. Hannah hadn’t been out this way in some months. He missed an important turn at a place called the Yocona River Inn and had to stop at a country store to ask directions...

Grow Your Own Spring Salad Mix | Garden Guides

If you're craving fresh greens and horrifed by supermarket prices, why not grow your own? Nothing tastes fresher and sweeter than a spring salad just picked from your own windowsill or garden. The best time to harvest Mesclun is early in the morning before the sun is high; heat causes wilting. Start harvesting when the greens are two inches long, never letting them get more than six inches tall; use scissors to snip them off just above the growing crowns (about one inch above the soil level). This is called the cut-and-come-again method because the crop will grow back; if you water and lightly fertilize after harvesting, the greens should be ready for harvest again soon.

What Is Kombucha?

Kombucha is a living health drink made by fermenting tea and sugar with the kombucha culture. The result can taste like something between sparkling apple cider and champagne, depending on what kind of tea you use. It's not what you'd imagine fermented tea to taste like.

Masticating Juicer

A masticating juicer is the answer to every juicing problem. Because it operates on the mastication process, this type of juicer chews the fibers and breaks up the cells of vegetables and fruits. This give you more fiber, enzymes, vitamins and trace minerals. This all results in the darker, richer color of the juice and a sweeter, richer more full-bodied flavor.

I Can See Clearly Now tabs and lyrics

I can see clearly now the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone all the dark clouds that made me blind
It's gonna be a bright, (bright) bright, (bright) sun shiny day
