Once in Washington state, I was hiking alone and a big black bear crossed the road in front of me. I was glad he was minding his own business and I probably increased my pace a bit to get back home. More later.

I love to walk and when I lived in Colorado we did a lot of hiking in the Rockies and some camping up at over 12,000 feet. Campcooking was interesting (took a longer time), the water was wonderful (for drinking), the flowers beautiful!
