Zoobird

Dangerously organic!

Frank Cook discusses a concept he calls flow, which is the interrelatedness of all things in the world. Frank's work has influenced many of the people here on Zoobird, particularly Mycol Stevens, Marc Williams and the folks at the Hostel in the Forest. You'll hear people at many of the botany related festivals and gatherings mention Frank Cook with respect and admiration. He is no longer with us, but his botany work lives on. This is the first look here at Zoobird at Frank's work. Join us as we look at the body of knowledge Frank created that we are fortunate to have access to via the web. Please be kind and give us your memories (as comments) of Frank if you knew him or knew of him.

Oh, my - Chia and Taras - it would be wonderful if you'd write a little blog post about it! Please join the Frank Cook's World group I just started and post your memories as a discussion. Fantastic!

Here's the new group: http://www.zoobird.com/group/frank-cook-s-world Just join it and you'll forever be a part of it! Then, click "add discussion" to add your new discussion about what you learned from Frank in Costa Rica.

See the "Add Discussion" link above? That's it! Please! That will be the dream - getting some content already from people like ou who knew Frank. Bravo! What a great day! All the best, Mike Levin

we had the experience of meeting frank and his brother on a "walk" in costa rica,

an amazing person. he took the group on an identification walk for 2 hours, and we basically stayed still.

i never imagined one person could resonate with so much information about nature. the true meaning of awesome.
