Here's a mountain song you'll love. The first link is a version by Dirk Powell on YouTube. I like the music/singing on this one best and it includes lyrics. The second link is an artist named Luke Abbott who sings the same song and plays it on the guitar. Luke Abbott is such an excellent guitar player, in his attic! I am certain it only looks easy when Luke plays it. I bet it would sound great on a charango. If you look at the comments, you'll see a commenter asked Luke to share how he plays it on the guitar. Luke explains "I dunno... mostly just D and G, 1 and 4... but with some added notes here and there, don't know how to explain, just watch my fingers and give it a go! Also note that I have the capo not pressing down the low E string."
At first, when I heard Dirk Powell's version, I wasn't sure whether it was a banjo or a guitar, and whether it was one or two instruments.
"The noticeably bitter taste of turnip greens has been linked by researchers to its calcium content. On an ounce-for-ounce basis, turnip greens contain about 4 times more calcium than a much less bitter-tasting cruciferous vegetables like cabbage."
