Hi, How long have you been on Zoobird? I'm fairly new and getting acquainted with a lot of nice people. I'd like to hear more about sustainable lifestyles and in particular how you fit into that. I also would like to invite you to join my new group, Environmantal Zoo where you can express your concerns, solutions, ideas or anything else you'd like to share. Look to see you there.
Hi Liberty,
I met a man here in Austin, TX yesterday who invited me to join this forum and he mentioned that he lives in Gainesville...as do you...and I was wondering if you know any people named Blaisdell. My sister lived in Gainesville for years before she died there in 1999. Her eldest son Billy died there in 2004. Sorry, don't mean to be depressing about the deaths. I'm sure that they are well and whole again. Still, my nephew Jackie still is there as is Betsy and Susan and Judy...
In any case, it's nice to "meet" you...hope you'll check out myspace/theblackshepherd

I want to get Sh'mal something from Indigo as a keepsake. He arrives in Seattle end of July, so I'll drop by between now and then because I'm headed up that way about the time he gets there.
"The noticeably bitter taste of turnip greens has been linked by researchers to its calcium content. On an ounce-for-ounce basis, turnip greens contain about 4 times more calcium than a much less bitter-tasting cruciferous vegetables like cabbage."
Have you always wanted to make your own bread? Well, here's a little article about making rye bread with a bread machine. This bread machine came from a thrift store and only cost $11.99! The ingredients to make Russian Rye were so simple you won't believe how easy it was. Enjoy!
