Event Description

The Classic Rendezvous Weekend

A unique event which caters to the owners, riders, admirers and collectors of Vintage Lightweight bicycles and modern "Keepers of the Flame" bicycles as well as the lore & history that surround these machines. An added bonus is to meet and discuss the craft with the frame builders themselves in attendance.

The elements of the weekend are similar to the popular Le Cirque du Cyclisme events, but also unique in many ways.

Within this weekend there will be social gatherings, many different rides including the popular Tour de Lions, conversations,  demonstrations, talks by interesting people, opportunities to learn and share, and finishing with a swap meet and bike show complete with awards of excellence! (See the schedule pagefor all the details) But above all, the guiding principle will be FUN for all!

The volunteers who bring you this classic holiday are drawn from the Greensboro Velo Club, cycles de ORO Bike Shop and members of the ClassicRendezvous.com email list. Thanks to them all for their generous time giving! All proceeds will go to community cycling projects.

We hope you are able to join us for these special days, to enjoy the myriad activities with great people at the Classic Rendezvous Weekend!
