Dangerously organic!

Summer is almost upon us. What should we keep in mind as the weather changes?

Well, my tomatoes are dropping their blossoms as the nighttime temperature rises into the 80's. My pole beans are taking off. My summer squash (patty pan, which I planted late) is covered with blossoms and my cucumbers (which don't have quite enough sun, I am thinking) are languishing. Eggplants and peppers look good, and my herbs are holding their own in the Florida heat (all container grown on a patio).

What are the "tracks" on the leaves of some of my plants? Don't see anything, and the plants seem OK, but mostly on the bottom leaves of tomatoes, green beans, cukes. A little on the eggplant.

Anyone have any luck growing artichokes in Florida? How about ginger and garlic?
