Dangerously organic!

I'm familiar with the weeds
Though scientific names elude me.
Viperous vines and thistley thorns,
All flowers in their own right,
Creep carefully and quietly among the legal grasses.
Exponentially they grow,
Calling loudly to the butterflies and
Hanging on to passersby.

Perhaps I should pick flowers?

Weeds weeds weeds,
If you don't want the McRories Garden filled with
Weeds, weeds, weeds, this summer,
They will be taller thicker than you can image,
Plan ahead.
Mulch, mulch.
Or grow summer stuff.
See middle garden, others too.
Maybe not the vegies you're used to,
But edible, keept one attentive to their desire
For Growing.
On the flip side,
If you let your plot go to Weed,
You'll have a large amout of organic matter
To lay down on the walking paths;
Growing mulch works also.
Gotta go now, one the road
Sh'mal
It hot, hard to garden,
I wrote my poem some years ago as a relatively new gardener coming to terms with organic gardening (which helps everything grow well!). I did, subsequently, learn to mulch, container garden, square foot garden, and, to have a love/hate relationship with weeds...
