Central Park Hostel

I just got an email from Drue, former co-owner of Jockamo's, Orlando's best Cajun restaurant, hooking me up with a friend of hers who is in the hostel, budget travel andando, seat of the pants travel world to try and entice me to get involved with the classes he teaches and other possibilities. His name is Jim and I hope he joins Zoobird and the Travelin' Zoo.


Thanks to Google's incredible Adsense, my GMail program displayed an ad pointing to a hostel in ... drumroll ... New York City!

It's called the Central Park Hostel and it's only $34/night! Just in time for the holidays, too!

The last time I stayed in NYC, the cheapest place I could find wasn't cheap at all. It was nice, but, the Barbizan Hotel was a major hit on the old wallet.

Central Park Hostel looks like a player in the budget traveler arena. Anyone gone? We'd love to hear all about it.
