The Dance

As a parade of people flooded the street, that was eerily empty just a moment before, the ancient sound of a gong echoed through the cobble stone. Each person had a hand on a silk rope hundreds of feet long which at the end of the rope was the gong ,being pulled through the streets. These mysterious people in red were dashing about and persuading onlookers grasp the silk rope and follow. My mom and I surely did follow and were led through a tunnel and into a beautiful courtyard. What took place soon after we were all gathered was a passionate dance that put tears in my eyes and happiness in my heart.
