Dangerously organic!

I've been out of town a good while now. Just got back. Today, I'll head out to the garden and see how my plants have fared. I hear rumors that it's like armageddon. Spring planting here I come.

I needed a Gibson fix yesterday when I got here but the lib was closed, so I tried Google Books Good thing it's there - not complete books, but enough to take the edge off cravings.

Elephant Journal featured the "Inappropriate Yoga Guy" this week. Pretty funny, in a sati sort of way. I am showing off my vocabulary from Food for the Heart: The Collected Teachings of Ajahn Chah.

So, what are you planting for the Spring? Are you signing up for Community Sponsored Agriculture? Doing some bicycle commuting? Thinking about installng some water barrels?

Liberty Phoenix and Indigo Green Store have been having some incredible workshops. If you're local to Gainesville or nearby, you might consider making the trip to the Indigo Green Store and checking out their workshops.

I hear there's CSA around here - called Magnolia Farms. It's in Live Oak, FL.

Hope you all are off to a good start, or (in some people like Behrang's case) are winding up a good day.

Strange. When I go to elephant.com it redirects me to elephant.co.uk. Where can I find out more about that wakeup regimen?

Yeah! But, in all seriousness the yoga videos Waylon points to on www.elephant.com cover yoga from so many perspectives you're sure to find one that works for you. I've been doing Tara Styles's wakeup regimen. It takes 5 minutes or as long as you want. I can't tell you what a huge difference it makes to just pause a few minutes and do those stretches before you get out of bed. I wrote about Power Yoga online. Watch out. As a friend, I need to warn you that their trial is addictive. Tara says that yoga combines exercise and meditation. At least for me, a small investment of time in yoga stays with me and pays back inordinately longer than you'd think it would.
