Dangerously organic!

Want to work on an Organic Farm? Magnolia Farms is calling...

Magnolia Farms is in Live Oak, FL and serves Gainesville and the surrounding area. So, if you're local, you can sign up - it's CSA, community supported agriculture.

Darlene and Mike McElwee need helping hands at our farm in exchange for food shares. How cool is that? They also make feta and chevre' goatcheese from their herd of 75 dairy goats. They need volunteers /interns in exchange for food shares. They have a campground here with native american teepees for farm stays.

I love to camp. I intend to check it out sometime. In fact, these months are like nirvana here in "the swamp", as I affectionately refer to Florida.

Imagine yourself camping with a purpose! Having fun outdoors and helping out at a farm that produces organically grown food the whole community has a chance to benefit from. With all the publicity about additives in food, concerns about genetically modified produce, here's an easy as pie way to help yourself, your family and the folks around you, too!
